Tighearnan/Characters
From Tymestl Wiki
Ryan is the main one who has characters. He's been writing since 7th grade, but the characters only started 'sticking' after he started fleshing them out more in highschool. They are split into 2 main groups: Roleplay and Story. Ryan isn't sure how he "bonds" these characters, he just fleshes them out, and there they are.

Story
Story characters last longer. The catch to this is that they almost only reside in their own worlds, not interacting with the Members. Ryan can watch them, but more as an audience member at a play than an active participant. He can adjust the flow of the story f he wants to, but can't make them do anything completely against they're personality. Their personalities generally change according to occurences in their lives, rather than just how he wants.
Interactions
- To interact with a character, he generally has to seriously focus on them. While planning and first starting WoaG[1] he could often interact with Selta. Because he spent a good chunk of his senior year playing out a storyline between 2 characters (over. and over. and over.), he can still often 'conjure up' and speak with the 2 involved.
- Stress is also a cause for them to come up. Once, during the SAT 2- Math exam, Julius[2] randomly showed up. When this happens, they generally hang around for awhile. Ryan almost suspects Jinni and Nyles are characters because of this. He just isn't sure which characters yet.
Worlds
- There are 3 story worlds in the system, 2 of which Ryan's. The conglomeration world and the WoaG[3] world. Only the conglomeration has humans, and is a mix up of many of the characters/races/plots/etc Ryan's come up with overtime. The third is of Glenn's characters. Ryan has not been there and can not report on it.
Unused Timelines
- As it said on the Main Page, Tom is a character from an unused timeline. This is one of the timelines from the storyline mentioned above that he played in his head over (and over. and over.). Because he played it over at least 10 times, and each time it varied either a little or a lot, some timelines got marked as failures. Tom's was one of them. Tom didn't play a large role, so it was easy for his appearances to be knocked out.
Roleplay
- Roleplay characters do not last very long, only as long as Ryan focuses on them. They can interact with Ryan's other roleplay characters, or Ryan himself, but the bonds are generally too weak for much stimulating conversation.
